Yeah..yesterday only started my first day in Kumon tuition centre..it's a tuition centre for kids to learn maths and english..and for me..i went there interview last saturday and i got the part time job as to help them marking exercises.
And friends you know what..today is my second day and when i was there i had alot of thoughts..hah..they really got damn excellent levels for the kids..i think for the early primary one they alry know what is square root and all that..cos i can see that from their writing (normally primary school students would hv big hand writing and also hard to read X.X).
My job there was to mark mark mark and mark their excercises only..and you couldnt imagine how much exercise they had done..seriously..and there were alot of preschool children..hell..during my time..i was only know how to run barefoot outside of my house..lolz!true right?nowadays kids also have alot of pressure...what to do..the world is changing~ >.<
p/s:back aching due to sit too long for the marking things.T.T

kids nowadays are having more and more pressure,coz they're being forced to attend tuition classes almost everyday.
although they might know alot more than we will ever know,
but for sure,
they missed out many crazy things we did during those days.
I did not know what a tuition class is until I was in form 3.
Luckily I was born earlier.:P

erm.. to me, kiasu is caused by competitions, and LACK OF CHANCES among chinese students to get scholarships and also to be offered in local Uni.
why only a few Malays go tuition?
and WHY chinese are so willing to spend so much on tuitions?
Malays can get JPA and MARA even with 4 or 5 As in SPM
But chinese? 10A1s ? 11A1s? MOST of them dont get a shit and ended up in Private colleges and Form six..
Tuition does not show the Kiasu-ness of chinese,
it only reflects the racist policies that made chinese community desperate to find a way out!
